The Institute for International People-to-People Exchange in Innovation and Entrepreneurship was established in June 2022 as a joint venture between the Center for Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange of the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Tourism College. The Institute takes innovation and entrepreneurship as the grip to build an open, application-oriented and internationalized platform for innovation and entrepreneurship research, humanities exchange, talent training, decision-making and social services. The Institute is now recruiting members, directors and executive directors for the society, and displaying information on the applicants. In 2021, the platform will house & nurture 211 new teams and raise more than 3.8 billion RMB in total. 148 entrepreneurial activities will be held and participated in 2021, including the "CEO Creative Micro Salon", "Entrepreneurs' FUN No" and "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Open Class" series of activities mainly for college entrepreneurs. "In 2021, we hosted & co-hosted 38 entrepreneurship competitions, received 27 visits and trips, invited and participated in 76 events, and linked 335 enterprises. Since its establishment, the platform has 9 business mentors and experts from the think tank, serving as business mentors in more than 50 universities, linking with resources from universities in Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea, etc. The platform has coached a total of 2,414 project teams, raised funds to support 161 innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises, and produced a number of high-tech growth enterprises such as Deepview Technology, Fengchuan Power, MuYu Technology, Caihua Technology, Star Measurement Future, Alpha Smart Link and Jingxin Technology.
