The Institute for International People-to-People Exchange in Innovation and Entrepreneurship was established in June 2022 as a joint venture between the Center for Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange of the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Tourism College. The Institute takes innovation and entrepreneurship as the grip to build an open, application-oriented and internationalized platform for innovation and entrepreneurship research, humanities exchange, talent training, decision-making and social services. The Institute is now recruiting members, directors and executive directors for the society, and displaying information on the applicants. Wuchang Institute of Technology has built 10 on-campus innovation and entrepreneurship sites, such as entrepreneurship practice base for college students and e-commerce business incubation base, with an area of 3,824.8 square meters. Club". It has been awarded as "Wuhan Entrepreneurship Training Designated Institution" and "Wuhan College Student Entrepreneurship Institute" by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the city. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base for College Students was established in 2014 and is operated and managed by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (Innovation and Entrepreneurship College). With the core objective of supporting college students to start their own business, the base is mainly characterized by public welfare, demonstration and professionalism, and the main form is to build a business incubation platform with comprehensive services such as entrepreneurship policy explanation, entrepreneurship guidance and training and entrepreneurship financing, providing college students with favorable conditions and good environment for starting their own business and improving their ability to start their own business.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base has been awarded as "Hubei Province Student Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base" and "Hubei Province Excellent Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club" by Hubei Provincial Department of Education, and awarded as "Wuhan Entrepreneurship Training Wuhan Entrepreneurship Training Institute" and "Wuhan College Student Entrepreneurship Institute". During the period, we regularly hold entrepreneurship salons, with entrepreneurship lectures, sharing sessions and policy popularization as the main contents, so as to enhance the entrepreneurial awareness and innovative entrepreneurial ability of our students. A total of 238 entrepreneurship lectures (salons) were held, with more than 24,865 participants and 98.7% satisfaction rate. A total of 70 items and 294 people participated in entrepreneurial activities and won awards. Among them, Wu Hui of ITC 1801 won the gold medal in the 7th International "Internet+" Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Hubei Province, and Wang Zhiwen of E&M 1401 won the gold medal in the 3rd China "Internet+" Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Hubei Province. The students of Wuchang Institute of Technology won the silver medal in the fourth Internet+ Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Hubei Province. The students of Wuchang Institute of Technology have been awarded the honorary title of innovation and entrepreneurship for 25 times, 7 students have been awarded the title of Hubei Changjiang Scholar, 15 students have been awarded the title of Star of Entrepreneurship, and 1 student has been awarded the title of Top 100 Student Entrepreneurship Hero and Provincial Student Self-improvement Star.
