The Institute for International People-to-People Exchange in Innovation and Entrepreneurship was established in June 2022 as a joint venture between the Center for Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange of the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Tourism College. The Institute takes innovation and entrepreneurship as the grip to build an open, application-oriented and internationalized platform for innovation and entrepreneurship research, humanities exchange, talent training, decision-making and social services. Zhejiang Security Vocational and Technical College is the only vocational college in Zhejiang Province that focuses on cultivating high-quality technical and technical personnel with security technology application and promotion capabilities and being able to engage in public safety management, security engineering construction, civil aviation safety management and other high-quality technical skills. Taking the "Opinions of the State Council on Promoting the High-quality Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to Create an Upgraded Version of "Double Creation"" as an opportunity, the school planned from a high position, highly effectively promoted the dual innovation education of the college, and actively explored a new model of "new vocational colleges" double innovation education, and achieved a series of breakthrough results.

In terms of innovation and entrepreneurship education, we have actively promoted the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship courses, formed a series of innovation and entrepreneurship course systems, and achieved full coverage of innovation and entrepreneurship courses, and have completed the writing of two textbooks, "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Basics" and "Innovative Thinking and Methods", which are published by national first-level publishing houses. Actively docking social resources, the school was selected as the training base of Wenzhou Digital Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Vocational Training Service Alliance Project. Gradually carry out streaming media operator and Internet + entrepreneurship training, and provide students with diversified entrepreneurial training options.

In terms of the construction of the entrepreneurial platform, the school was successfully selected as the Mass Entrepreneurship Innovation Demonstration Base in Zhejiang Province in August 2020 (a total of 10 higher vocational schools in the province have been selected in previous years). In December 2021, Huating Co-working Space won the title of Zhejiang Provincial Co-working Space.

In terms of innovation and entrepreneurship competition, in the past three years, Zhejiang Security Vocational and Technical College has won more than 50 awards in the innovation and entrepreneurship competition; In 2021, it achieved excellent results in the Zhejiang Provincial College Students E-commerce "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" competition, with 4 teams winning the provincial competition gold award, 2 teams winning the provincial silver award, 5 teams winning the provincial bronze award, the total number of gold awards ranked first in the province's higher vocational awards, the total number of awards ranked first in the province's higher vocational awards, and the quality of awards hit a new high in the past years. At the same time, Zhejiang Security Vocational and Technical College won the Excellent Organization Award as the only higher vocational college.

In addition, the case "Innovation Mechanism, Focusing on the Cultivation of "Smart Security" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents" submitted by Zhejiang Security Vocational and Technical College stood out from many excellent cases and was selected as a typical case of innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges in 2020, and only 15 innovation and entrepreneurship cases of higher vocational colleges and universities in the country were selected in this list.
