The Institute for International People-to-People Exchange in Innovation and Entrepreneurship was established in June 2022 as a joint venture between the Center for Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange of the Ministry of Education and Sichuan Tourism College. The Institute takes innovation and entrepreneurship as the grip to build an open, application-oriented and internationalized platform for innovation and entrepreneurship research, humanities exchange, talent training, decision-making and social services. The Institute is now recruiting members, directors and executive directors for the society, and displaying information on the applicants. The next is the fourth phase of membership application unit display: Shandong University of Science and Technology.

Shandong University of Science and Technology was founded in 1951 and operates in Qingdao, Tai'an and Jinan, covering a total area of more than 3,500 mu, with more than 42,000 students. It is a famous university and high-level university in Shandong Province, which focuses on the construction of application-based talents cultivation with outstanding advantages in engineering, distinctive industrial characteristics, interpenetration and coordinated development of engineering, science, management, literature, law, economy and art. It is a university of "first-class" construction.

The university has established exchanges and cooperation with more than 120 universities and research institutes in 23 countries and regions, and has been selected as a member of the National Program for the Introduction of Innovation and Intelligence in Higher Education (111 Program), with nearly 100 foreign experts and teachers in the university every year. The university has one non-independent legal person approved by the Ministry of Education, and five Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, with more than 1,800 students. There are more than 600 international students from more than 60 countries.

The university actively carries out innovation and entrepreneurship work in China and abroad. Firstly, it builds a platform to provide exchange and invites Qingdao municipal government departments to carry out international students' innovation and entrepreneurship in Qingdao and visa policy promotion. Secondly, the university has jointly organized exchange activities with Qingdao SCO demonstration zone, such as training for international students on entrepreneurship and employment. Third, we actively participate in off-campus exchanges, and organize international students to participate in innovative and entrepreneurial exchange activities such as "Meet in the Free Trade Zone, Set Sail for Barter" and "Entrepreneurial City Partner" touring lecture and entrepreneurship training in Qingdao. Fourthly, the school carries out international cooperation projects, including joint training programs with Malang National University of Technology, Mongolia University of Science and Technology, and Molotuwo University in Sri Lanka; student exchange programs and Chinese language and culture study programs with the University of Vermont in the United States, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Kuzbass State Technical University in Russia, Jeonnam University and Pyeongtaek University in Korea.

The traditional Chinese cultural experience for international students hosted by the school has been reported by People's Daily, China Daily, CCTV and other media, and has been selected as one of the first "bases for social practice and cultural experience for Chinese government scholarship students coming to China" by the China Scholarship Council.
